Blue Hole BBQ and Spotlighting

On Friday 27th February, the UNE Zoology Society will be holding our first spotlighting event of the year!

Meet us from 6pm at the Natural History Museum to carpool to Blue Hole! If you are unable to carpool, meet us at Blue Hole at 6:30pm. When we arrive, there will be a BBQ for dinner before we set off all together at 7:45pm. We will aim to be returning to the Natural History Museum around 10-10:15pm.

There's no need for fancy equipment, we will supply head torches, but there is a limited number of these so if you have your own, please bring it along! Please dress warmly with appropriate clothes and wear good, comfy shoes.

Your ticket is only confirmed once you have received a confirmation email from the UNE Zoology Society, not just a tax invoice from UNELife. Once you have added your ticket to your cart, ensure you follow the rest of the checkout steps to make sure you complete your "purchase". If you are unsure if you have confirmed your place on the trip, please email the Zoology Society. 

Some fauna we are likely to see include:

• Koalas
• Possums
• Kangaroos
• Variety of birds
• Microbats
• Native Frogs
• Variety of lizards and herps
• Variety of inverts

For those who don't have their own transport to make their way out to Blue Hole, there will be a bus with limited space. However, we will also be allocating those without transport to people with spare seats in their cars. Please select the appropriate option according to your transport situation.

Make sure you RSVP by 7pm, on Thursday 26th February (the day before the event) to secure your spot! If you have dietary requirements, please let us know in your RSVP.
