UNE Zoology Society Book Club Catch-up
16:00 – 17:00
The UNE Zoology Society is excited to invite you to our next online book club catch-up. This month, we are reading "The influence of fence design on the movement patterns of eastern long‐necked turtles" By Dowling et al. published in the Journal of Wildlife Management. This paper was written by UNE honours student James Dowling and published with Associate Professor Deb Bower, UNE Masters student Remo Boscarino-Gaetano, and Senior Lecturer Dr Eric Nordberg. When: Sunday 6th October, 2024. Time: 4pm. Where: Online via Zoom.  We understand trimester can be a busy time so instead of reading books, we will be discussing scientific papers relevant to the field of zoology.  The purpose of this book club is to offer online (and also on-campus!) students an opportunity to engage with other zoology-minded students in a fun and social setting. We want this to be a relaxed and social get together so there is no pressure to intricately know the details of the scientific paper. Just come along for a chat!  :) Please register your attendance to receive the zoom meeting link and a link to the scientific paper. We look forward to seeing you there!
